MEET DALLAS

Dallas grew up in a working class family right here in Las Vegas. They moved around a lot, which meant that Dallas attended three middle schools and three high schools across Clark County. This experience, in part, drives Dallas’s commitment to improving our classrooms for students and ensuring every child can receive a world class education right here in Nevada.

Dallas’s mom instilled in her that education is a pathway to a better life. That’s why, after graduating from Green Valley High School, Dallas went on to earn two Bachelor's Degrees from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, a Masters Degree in Public Policy from Claremont Graduate University, and her law degree from George Washington University.

Upon returning to Nevada, Dallas went to work at the Public Utilities Commission of Nevada (PUCN), where she served as an Administrative Attorney, representing the interests of Nevadans and fighting to keep energy costs low. Then with the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada, as a Consumer Rights Attorney, representing seniors in guardianship cases.

At heart, Dallas is a policy nerd and loves debating the merits, so when she knocks on your door, don’t be afraid to ask the tough questions. Dallas believes that there are no Democrat ideas or Republican ideas, just ideas that better the lives of Nevadans.

When Dallas is not representing clients or serving in the State Legislature, you can find her on the tennis court or at a Las Vegas Aces game with her wife Summer and their kids Lawerence and Delaney.
